How It Works
No mystery, no lock-in. Here's exactly what happens from the moment you request a review to the years after your site goes live.
The full process
Five stages, a human at every one
Free 5-point website review
You request a review, and we look at your current site the way a customer would — mobile experience, messaging, conversion path, speed, and credibility. You get plain-language findings you can act on with or without us. No website yet? That's a valid starting point too.
Discovery & proposal
If the review points to real opportunities, we talk — about your business, your customers, and what a better site should actually accomplish. Then you get a written proposal with clear scope and pricing guidance. No pressure, no expiring "act now" discounts.
Design & build
The site gets designed around your customers' behavior and built by hand for speed and reliability. You see progress at every stage and nothing is final until you've approved it.
Launch
Domain, hosting, and go-live are handled carefully — with your existing site staying up until the new one is ready. Launch day is a switch, not a gamble.
Ongoing care
Websites go stale without attention. The care plan covers updates, monitoring, backups, and support — so hours, services, and content stay accurate, and problems get fixed before customers notice them.
The audit methodology
What a full review actually checks
The free review focuses on the five factors that matter most. A full audit — part of every project — goes deeper, across nine areas. Every finding is reviewed by a person, not just scored by a tool.
Mobile usability
Tap targets, readability, and one-handed use on real phone screens.
Visual credibility
Does the site look current, professional, and trustworthy at first glance?
Messaging
Clarity about what you do, who it's for, and where you serve.
Conversion design
How clearly and quickly a visitor can call, book, or request a quote.
Performance
Load speed on mobile networks, asset weight, and technical health.
Navigation
Whether visitors can find what they came for without hunting.
Local SEO fundamentals
Titles, headings, business data, and the signals local search relies on.
Accessibility
Contrast, labels, keyboard access — usable by everyone, as it should be.
Content freshness
Outdated hours, dead pages, and stale content that quietly erode trust.
Concept previews
Sometimes we show, not tell
For some businesses, the clearest way to communicate what a better website could be is to build a preview of one. When that happens, a few rules always apply:
- Private. Previews live on a separate address that isn't public, isn't indexed by search engines, and isn't linked from anywhere on this site.
- Expiring. Previews are temporary by design. They come down after a defined period whether or not a project moves forward.
- Clearly labeled. Every preview states plainly that it's a concept created by Tampa Webworx — never something pretending to be your live site.
- Independent. A preview is built from public information and our own ideas. It creates no obligation on your side, and no claim on ours.
The same honesty applies to the concept projects shown publicly on this site: they're fictional demonstrations, labeled as such, and they'll be replaced by real client case studies as projects complete.
Step one is free.
Request the 5-point review — you'll get honest findings, whatever you decide afterward.
